The City of West Tawakoni and volunteers from Keep West Tawakoni Beautiful again are teaming up to allow the city’s water service customers to dispose of bulky trash and brush at the city’s sewer plant on Saturday, Oct. 7th.
KWTB volunteers will man the sewer plant on Saturday from 8 a.m. until noon or until the dumpsters are full, to allow residents who are unable to make it to the site during weekday hours, to get rid of their outsized trash.
The site regularly is open on Thursdays from 9 a.m. until noon and 1 to 3 p.m.
To dispose of items at the sewer plant at 1401 Rabbit Cove Road, people must bring copies of
their current water bill and a valid driver’s license. This service is for residential customers only
You are reminded that people will not be allowed to dump old tires during these times, nor any
hazardous materials such as pesticides, fertilizers, motor oils and similar items. And be warned that you
should be able to get your bulky trash from your vehicle or trailer into the dumpster yourself, as there is
only limited assistance available.
